At The Reserve Bacalar we handle your personal data responsibly and in accordance with the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares — the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) — its Regulations, and the Privacy Notice Guidelines. This notice explains what data we collect through this website, the purposes for which we use it, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Red Astronauts, S.A. de C.V. (hereinafter, "The Reserve Bacalar"), with its address for purposes of this notice in southern Bacalar, Quintana Roo, Mexico, and contact email ventas@thereservebacalar.com.
2. Personal data we collect
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide when you contact us through the website form, by email, by phone, or via WhatsApp: your name, phone number, email address, the interest you indicate (for example, a lot, a villa, or financing), and the content of your message.
We do not collect sensitive personal data. If you choose to share additional information with us on your own initiative, we will treat it with the same confidentiality and use it solely to respond to your request.
3. Purposes of processing
Primary purposes: responding to your requests for information about the development; scheduling and following up on visits; sending you the information, quotes, or financial projections you request; and following up on your interest for sales purposes.
Secondary purposes: keeping you informed about news, construction progress, pricing, and products of the development itself. You may opt out of these communications at any time by replying to any of our messages or writing to ventas@thereservebacalar.com, without this affecting how we handle your requests.
4. Data transfers
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We would disclose it only in the cases provided by law: to competent authorities upon a duly substantiated request, or to advisors and notaries when necessary to formalize a transaction you have decided to enter into.
5. ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent
You have the right to access, rectify, and cancel your personal data, as well as to object to its processing — your ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation, and objection) — and to withdraw any consent you have given us.
To exercise these rights, send a request to ventas@thereservebacalar.com stating your full name, the right you wish to exercise, and the contact details where we can reply, together with an official ID proving your identity. We will respond within the timeframes established by the LFPDPPP (no more than 20 business days to notify you of our decision).
If you believe your right to data protection has been violated, you may file a complaint with the Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI), Mexico's data protection authority.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We use only a technical cookie to remember your language preference and, within the restricted-access private areas, a session cookie that is essential for signing in.
Third-party services you may access from the site — such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or the interactive master plan viewer — are governed by their own privacy notices.
7. Retention and security
We keep your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, and we apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect it against damage, loss, alteration, or unauthorized use.

We may update this notice to reflect legal or operational changes. Any modification will be published on this same page, together with its update date.
